Philosophy

*Few, if any, of these ideas were originated from me. They are simply a collection put here to make you think*

The Hedgehog/Porcupine Dilemma
The urge to be close (for warmth), but to remain apart for fear of hurting ones' self/another. Humans experience this same dilemma on a social level, because there need for physical touch is occasionally surpassed by their desire to seem or be a certain way in front of others.

Schödinger's Cat
A paradox concluding that nothing is real until you see it.

Domestication and Die Hard Habits
The reason domesticated dogs walk in a circle before they lay down is because it was a natural habit in the wild to flattten the earth and alert animals/insects. Humans also have these sorts of habits, like our desire for sugar and caffeine despite our decrease in necessity.

Morality: Guilt vs Narcissism of the Living
When you wish you had died instead of other's, you may hate yourself as much as you love others; when you wish you could live like other's, you may hate other's for not doing what you love about yourself.

The Paradox of Suicide
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
